‘A good deal’ for Eid: Senegalese eye holiday elegance at second-hand prices

For AFP, June 24, Pikine, Dakar, Senegal – “Vide-dressing By Coumba” is a second-hand clothing boutique launched online in 2018. Seynabou, the founder, opened a physical shop in 2022 and is aiming to help people find affordable outfits for parties and ceremonies. The boutique mainly advertises on social networks (Tik-Tok, Facebook, WhatsApp) and has a predominantly female clientele who come to sell and buy, especially during festive periods such as Eid.
